The Factoring Services Group (FSG) was founded by Arnold Parker, this was the start of the buying group that later became GROUPAUTO UK & Ireland Ltd.

AAG Enters The UK
Alliance Automotive Group (AAG), entered the United Kingdom when they acquired the Factoring Services Group.
2002
AutoCare Network Launched
The AutoCare garage network programme was launched in the UK as part of the International network, EUROGARAGE.

2011
G-Logix Central Distribution Centre Opens
GROUPAUTO introduced a central Distribution Centre formerly known as G-Logix. In 2016 this moved from being for Light Vehicle (LV) products to a dedicated Commercial Vehicles (CV) product Distribution Centre called CV Logix.

TOP TRUCK Formed
GROUPAUTO’s commercial vehicle network TOP TRUCK was formed.
2013
ApprovedGarages.co.uk Launched
Our website approvedgarages.co.uk was launched as a lead generating website for our garage network.
2016
AAG Acquired Lookers Parts Division
AAG acquired Lookers Parts Division which includes the companies FPS, Apec Braking & BTN Turbo.

CV Logix Central Distribution Centre Opens
The CV Logix distribution centre, a dedicated Commercial Vehicles (CV) product Distribution Centre based in Bradford, opens.
2017
GPC Acquires AAG
In 2017, Alliance Automotive Group was acquired by the Genuine Parts Company (GPC). The combination of these businesses has created the largest automotive aftermarket company in the world.

AAG Acquires Platinum International
AAG acquires Platinum International, the largest independent battery and lubricant distributor in UK.
